However, large swaths of the early twentieth-century city called “#Little Paris” for its Beaux-Arts-style palaces, government buildings, and #museums may still be found. Bucharest in #europe is full of wonders, such as lovely fresco-covered #churches hidden behind communist housing towers. Some of these churches were destroyed in the 1980s when the city was rebuilt to resemble a #European Pyongyang, and most were spared by being relocated in their entirety to backstreets.
